Oak Ridge Incorporated was founded in 1990 by Mike and Bev Gorman for the development of new homes and new home communities. The family business traded under Oak Ridge Builders and Oakridge Communities. The two companies developed lots and built homes throughout the state of Virginia, from Richmond to Winchester, with the concentration of work in the NOVA area. You can see our work in many large planned urban developments (PUDs) such as Virginia Run, Cascades, Ashburn Farms and within smaller infill projects in Haymarket, Manassas, and Leesburg.
In 2022, the second generation took the reigns: Dan Gorman stepped in to lead the company. Oak Ridge Commercial Construction leverages Dan’s background and training in commercial construction. We now focus on office build-out and common space refit, town center retail spaces, and overtop apartments. Mike and Bev endorse Dan’s efforts in this arena and fully support him in his endeavors.
